The RISE Peer Recovery team recently had the opportunity to attend the Indianapolis Colts’ Kicking the Stigma game against the Las Vegas Raiders, joining thousands of fans, community members, and advocates in raising awareness about the importance of mental health.
Kicking the Stigma is more than a game-day initiative—it is a movement dedicated to encouraging open conversations about mental health, reducing stigma, and connecting individuals with the support they need. We were honored to be part of an event that reinforces the message that no one has to face mental health challenges alone.
For our team, the day was also an opportunity to strengthen connections, recharge, and celebrate the meaningful work we do together every day. Building strong relationships within our team helps us better serve the individuals and communities who rely on us for support.
RISE Peer Recovery is proud to serve Daviess, Knox, Pike, Gibson, and Dubois Counties, providing peer support and promoting recovery, resilience, and hope throughout our region. Events like Kicking the Stigma remind us that when communities come together, we can inspire understanding, encourage healing, and help others see that recovery is possible.
