Catholic Community of Washington Summer Social Join the Catholic Community of Washington for our annual Summer Social at The Commons! Enjoy a weekend of faith, food, fun, and fellowship as we gather to celebrate our parish community with great food, live music, family activities, and more. Everyone is welcome! Event Schedule Saturday, July 25 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM Spend the evening with family and friends while enjoying: Beer Garden Live music by the Alexia Caballero Band Fish and hamburger stands Sunday, July 26 Summer Social: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM The day's festivities begin with: Outdoor Mass at 10:00 AM Dinner in the Knights of Columbus Hall beginning at 11:00 AM Homemade ice cream Live music by Joe and Jen Kid games and family activities Basket and Grand Raffle drawing at 3:00 PM Everyone Is Welcome Whether you're a member of our parish or visiting for the first time, we invite you to bring your family and friends and enjoy one of our favorite community traditions. Come experience a weekend filled with faith, delicious food, great entertainment, and fellowship—we look forward to celebrating with you!

Join us for this year's Overdose Awareness Candlelight Vigil as we come together to remember those we have lost, support individuals and families who are grieving, and raise awareness about overdose prevention, recovery, and hope. This meaningful community gathering provides an opportunity to honor loved ones, reflect on the impact of substance use disorder, and stand together in support of recovery and healing. Through remembrance and connection, we can help reduce stigma, inspire hope, and strengthen our community. We are grateful to the City of Huntingburg for generously providing the space for this important event and for supporting our efforts to bring the community together.
