At RISE, we believe that strong communities are built through meaningful connections, shared experiences, and showing up for one another. This past week was a wonderful reminder of why community engagement remains at the heart of everything we do.
Our team was proud to participate in several cherished local events across the region, including the Odon Old Settlers Parade, the Jasper Strassenfest Parade, Pride’s Creek Beaches, Burgers & Bingo, and the Knox County Fair. Each event gave us the opportunity to connect with families, neighbors, community leaders, and local organizations while celebrating the traditions that make our communities so special.
Whether we were waving to parade-goers, visiting with community members, or sharing information about our programs and services, every conversation reinforced the importance of being present and accessible. These events are about much more than attendance—they’re about building relationships, listening to the needs of our communities, and demonstrating our commitment to serving the people who call this region home.
At RISE, we understand that being community-centered means meeting people where they are. It means supporting local traditions, celebrating alongside our neighbors, and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement beyond the services we provide. Participating in these events allows us to strengthen partnerships, increase awareness of our mission, and remind our communities that RISE is here to support individuals and families every step of the way.
We are incredibly grateful to the organizers, volunteers, and attendees who made each event a success. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, asked questions about our organization, or simply shared a smile along the parade route or at the fairgrounds.
