About

Meet Heather Racey

Recovery Date: February 26, 2026.

Q: What is your favorite recovery activity?
A: Kayaking. I recently took it up and have really enjoyed spending time on the water with friends and family.

Q: Who is your strongest advocate?
A: Brian Peek. He has been part of my recovery journey since day one and has supported me through many aspects of my life. Today, we’re fortunate to work alongside each other doing the job we love.

Q: What is your dream vacation?
A: Hawaii. I’d love to experience the waterfalls and the beautiful blue waters.

Q: If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
A: My mom. I miss her every day and would love for her to see where my life is today. She saw me at my lowest, and I’m grateful she also lived long enough to see me at my best.

Q: What is your favorite movie, TV show, or book?
A: Dateline has always been my favorite TV show.

Q: What’s your favorite way to spend a rainy afternoon?
A: Relaxing on the couch and watching Netflix.

Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
A: The ability to provide wealth to people living in poverty.

Q: What’s something most people don’t know about you?
A: I have a twin brother.

Q: What’s one thing on your bucket list?
A: To travel outside of the United States.

Q: Do you have a nickname?
A: “Heavy.” My dad gave me that nickname when I was a child.

Q: What’s your go-to coffee or drink order?
A: A white mocha with salted caramel.

Q: What always makes you smile?
A: Seeing people get better.

Q: What’s your favorite color?
A: Pink.
