Daviess County Comes Together to Celebrate Recovery at Recovery Day in the Park

RISE Peer Recovery extends a heartfelt thank you to the Daviess County community for coming together to celebrate recovery, hope, connection, and the possibility of a brighter future at Recovery Day in the Park.

The event brought together individuals and families, people in recovery, community partners, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who share a common belief: recovery is possible, and no one should have to walk the journey alone.

Throughout the day, community members had the opportunity to connect with local organizations, hear stories of recovery, support those impacted by substance use, and celebrate the strength and resilience found throughout our community.

We are especially grateful to everyone who contributed to making the event possible—those who registered, shared their personal stories, volunteered their time, sponsored the event, participated in activities, brought their families, and simply showed up to stand in support of recovery.

Every person who attended helped send an important message to our community: recovery matters, connection matters, and people matter.

Events like Recovery Day in the Park are an important part of creating communities where recovery is visible, supported, and celebrated. They provide opportunities to reduce stigma, strengthen relationships, connect people with resources, and remind individuals and families that hope is always possible.

RISE Peer Recovery is proud to be part of a community that continues to show up for recovery.

Thank you, Daviess County, for helping make Recovery Day in the Park such a meaningful celebration. We are grateful for the memories, connections, and stories shared throughout the day—and we look forward to coming together again next year.

Together, we celebrate recovery. Together, we build community.
