We’re excited to announce that RISE Peer Recovery has been awarded a $29,936 grant from United Way of Daviess County! This funding will support our Peer Recovery Coaches in providing temporary housing for individuals entering or actively engaged in treatment.
Stable housing is one of the most critical—yet often overlooked—components of a successful recovery journey. As Zella Taylor, CEO and Executive Director of United Way of Daviess County, shared:
“One of the biggest barriers to recovery is the lack of stable housing during treatment. A night or weekend in a hotel isn’t enough to rebuild a life or a future.”
This grant will allow us to bridge that gap—offering individuals a safe, supportive place to stay during some of the most vulnerable moments of their recovery.
